3d Green Star Png, Transparent Png - 827x852 PNG - DLF.PT

In this Photoshop Tutorial I will show you how to create the Green 3D Star that is in my image. I think this star looks really cool. You can add this star to your website as a graphic or you could put it in your header. You could do many different things with this star. I will write this tutorial in detail so that the new Photoshop users can follow along too.

How to Create a Green 3D Star in Photoshop

Step 1 – Create a New Canvas
Click File > New at the top of your Photoshop window to create a new canvas. Create your canvas 250 pixels by 250 pixels. Set your background color to white and click OK.

Step 2 – Create a New Layer
Locate your Layers Panel. Press F7 on your keyboard if you do not see your Layers Panel. In the bottom of your Layers Panel you will see an icon that looks like a sheet of paper. Click that little icon to create a new layer.

Step 3 – Select your Custom Shape Tool
Select your Custom Shape Tool from your toolbar. You may need to hold down the rectangle tool until the menu drops down and then click Custom Shape Tool.

Step 4 – Changing your Custom Shapes
Now you will need to go to the top of your Photoshop window and change your Custom Shapes. Drop the window down beside the word Shape and click on the arrow on the right hand side. Click Symbols from the drop down menu. This will load your Symbol Shapes.

Step 5 – Drawing your Star
Select the Star in the Custom Shapes Box. Then draw your star on your canvas. You can draw your star any size that you want.

Step 6 – Rasterizing your Layer
Left click on the Shape Layer in your Layers Panel to highlight it. Right click on that layer and click Rasterize Layer from the pop up menu. Rasterizing the Layer will make the edges of the star smooth.
